Is this service a form of legal representation?
No. Minority Thrive provides educational coaching and organizational support. We are not attorneys, and our services do not constitute legal advice or representation in due process hearings. We empower you through education and preparation, ensuring you understand your child's rights and the school's obligations from an academic standpoint.
How does the IEP Decoder (Clarity Call) help my family?
The IEP Clarity Call is designed to remove the fog of 'education-ese.' We review your current document line-by-line and provide a plain-language summary. You'll receive a clear breakdown of services, a list of the top 5 things to monitor in the classroom, and a tailored email template to initiate better communication with your child's team.
Can coaching services be performed virtually?
Yes. While we are based in New Jersey and deeply familiar with NJ special education regulations, all of our coaching sessions—from Clarity Calls to the 30-Day Success System—are conducted via secure virtual platforms. This allows us to support families across the state and beyond with high-end, convenient sessions.
Do you work directly with my child's school district?
Minority Thrive is not affiliated with any school district. Our loyalty is entirely to the families we serve. We provide the 'behind-the-scenes' toolkit and strategy you need to interface with the school team effectively, maintaining a professional and collaborative yet firm stance on your child's educational needs.
Strengthening Special Education Programs
Minority Thrive Consulting provides private consulting support to charter schools, private schools, and educational organizations seeking stronger special education systems and clearer operational practices. Services are tailored to each organization’s needs and may include documentation review, staff training, compliance support, case management systems, Standard Operating Procedure writing, and workflow improvement. Private consultations are available for school leaders seeking strategic, practical support in strengthening their special education programs.
To avoid conflicts of interest, school-based consulting is offered separately from parent-facing support services.
